Electronic Sensor Technology Press Release Available on Forbes.com | Print |
ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 4, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- A press release on Electronic Sensor Technology (OTC BB:ESNR.OB - News) was selected for distribution on Forbes.com on September 27, 2006, entitled ``Electronic Sensor Technology, Inc. Receives Initial Order from Applied Systems International, Inc. for the Government of Kuwait.'' The article announces an initial order from the Government of Kuwait for ESNR's 3 Model 4300 zNose(r) instruments, intended for use in Kuwait's Homeland Security. The zNose(r) employs proprietary Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) sensors and ultra-fast Gas Chromatography (GC) technology to separate vapor samples according to their chemical and physical properties, which enables its user to analyze and identify any chemical, vapor, or toxin in less than ten seconds, with part-per trillion sensitivity. The patented zNose(r) technology, is the only ``electronic nose'' to have received validation from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.Dr. Teong Lim, CEO of Electronic Sensor Technology said, ``We are very pleased that Forbes.com chose to distribute our news regarding the zNose(r) order for the Government of Kuwait on their website. We continue to show significant growth in orders for our zNose(r) chemical detection technology.''

In addition to the receipt of orders from the Government of Kuwait, Electronic Sensor Technology has recently received orders from the following three organizations: 1) Cherokee Industries, a manufacturer and systems integrator of environmental products; 2) Omega Scientific, based in Singapore, this initial order is for security applications; and 3) the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through ESNR's distributor, Applied Systems International, for their use in homeland security applications. ESNR anticipates that these initial orders are precursors to additional follow on orders.
